The 6 tales of Christmas competition
For our fun, festive competition, we asked our 6 Practitioners to tell us a tale from a Christmas past.
All you have to do is match the tales to the right Practitioners.
The entry with the most correct matches will win a £70 Creative Chiro gift voucher.
2nd prize is a £40 gift voucher and 3rd prize is a £25 gift voucher.
To enter, just fill in the entry form at the bottom of the page and click ‘SUBMIT’.
We have ‘tweaked’ the Practitioner’s profiles (below) to help you decide who said what!
MICHAEL
Now, of course Michael takes his responsibilities as a Chiropractor and Practice Director seriously. But, behind that grown-up exterior lurks a seasoned practical joker! He had better watch out if he doesn’t want to end up on Santa’s naughty list!
RAYDON
It is obvious to anyone who knows Raydon that he is a family man through and through. So, it’s no surprise that he has slotted right into the Creative Chiro family too. Hopefully, that means we can all expect big pressies from him this year!
DENISE
It has been pretty clear since Denise’s arrival at Creative Chiro almost a year ago, that she is very much a ‘can do’ type of person. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she will always go the extra mile to get things done. Of course, now and again, that can be her downfall!
CHRIS
In addition to being a brilliant Massage Therapist and Reflexologist, Chris definitely missed his calling in Panto! With an endless repertoire of one-liners, Chris keeps his patients entertained as well as pain free!
VANISHA
Vanisha has many talents, something her clinical massage patients are always telling us. But we can’t lie, the one we love most is her culinary genius! It clearly runs in the family as her mum is an amazing cook too. Happily for us, she loves to bring us in treats made by her and mum for us to share!
MAX
We are always intrigued to hear where Max is off to next, when he books his holidays. He loves to travel to unusual and exotic places and try new activities. Thankfully, he always manages to get back to us in one piece!
My favourite festive tale is…
“My most memorable Christmas was spent in New York, seeing the amazing Christmas tree at the Rockefeller Centre and walking around the city at night, soaking up the incredible festive atmosphere. It was just like being in a movie! And one thing I can say for sure, as a devoted foodie, you haven’t eaten pizza until you’ve had a New York pizza!”
“As a child, our family Christmas included my grumpy and argumentative Great Aunt Dolly. Now, my Christmas job was preparing everyone’s festive drinks and Dolly loved a Snowball (a mixture of Advocaat and lemonade). One year, Dolly was even more ‘Bah! Humbug!’ than usual. So, I decided to make her Snowballs more special with a big shot of vodka too. After having a couple of these ‘specially’ prepared cocktails, it turned out to be one of the best Christmases ever for (now jolly) Dolly and the rest of us!”
“My most amazing and unusual Christmas was spent in Varadero, a beautiful beach resort in Cuba with miles of white sandy beaches and coral reefs. It was definitely different to spend the festive season swimming, snorkelling and exploring the Cueva de Ambrosio caves, which are home to a huge colony of bats!”
“We used to live opposite a household that decorated their entire house and garden with so many Christmas decorations and lights you probably could have seen it from space. One year, inspired by their efforts, I climbed up onto our roof to install my first set of Christmas lights, which included a Santa climbing a ladder. In an ironic twist, I managed to fall off my ladder on the way down! I still think Santa had a good laugh at me!”
“My most memorable Christmas was the millennium. We wanted to mark the occasion by spending it somewhere really special with extended family. We chose the South African Savannah and were really excited at the prospect of seeing some of the ‘big game’ close up. But even we didn’t expect to look out and see elephants drinking water from the swimming pool! It’s a close encounter I will never forget and it was the icing on the cake of a great holiday welcoming in the new century with my family!”
“As the time for the school nativity rolled around, I was excited to find out which part I would get to play. A lead role surely? Well, it didn’t quite work out like that. My part as a Roman soldier included precisely one line: “Listen! Listen! Listen! You must all go home to be counted!” - Still, without that line, Mary and Joseph would never have set off for Bethlehem in the first place! So, it turns out I was a vital part of the Christmas story after all!”
